Wellington's microclimate, with cooling breezes, ensures excellent ripeness of the Chenin Blanc grapes, resulting in wines with structure, freshness and aromatic complexity. Harvesting is done manually and the must ferments partially in old French oak and stainless steel barrels, then matures on the lees for 3 months.
The result is a high quality Chenin Blanc with aromas of tropical fruit, quince, apricots and pears, with a rich and savoury palate, supported by brilliant acidity. This premium clone SN 24 is known to produce very high quality wines with distinctive aromas.
Food pairing: Its minerality perfectly matches with white meat as well as seafood.
