The wine is made in a Kvervi according to the ancient Georgian traditional method, with wild yeasts and free from any additives. It is made from Kakhuri Mtsvane, an endemic variety of grape grown in the vineyards of Alaverdi village, Akhmeta, kakheti. Wine spends 6 months ageing on skin.
