At the foot of the Montange Noire, towards the village of Pépieux, overlooking the Golfe du Lion, there are vineyards filled with old gnarled vines of Grenache. These beautiful, old but lively vines are used for the Gris des Lions.
A 'Gris' wine is a French term for a wine without maceration with the skins of the red grape, in this case the always subtle and loving Grenache, whereby the pressed wine is obtained with a blushing color.
Food pairing: Delicious by the glass, but also try this Rosé with sea bass with fennel or a vegetable tagine and be amazed by its versatility.
