Typical wine from the south of Italy. The grapes are harvested late ( September, early October) with a high degree of ripeness. This gives the wine fruit influences from dried fruits such as plums and raisins. Due to a short stay on oak, this is complemented in the taste with notes of chocolate and herbs.
Food pairing: Great wine for roasted meat and with game dishes such as wild boar and venison. Excellent with mature and hearty hard cheeses.
