Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, is the birthplace of the LOUIS PERDRIER winery. For many years, they have been producing Vin Mousseux here using the Charmat method, also known as Cuve Close.
The creator of this fantastic wine was Pierre-Louis Perdrier, who conquered Paris in 1880 with his "Louis Perdrier Brut Excellence," and today, the wine is also a staple in the Netherlands!
